DEUTERONOMY 6
61These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. 3Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.
4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God,
the LORD is one.
5Love the LORD your God with all your heart
and with all your soul
and with all your strength.
6These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
8Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
10When the LORD your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you--a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, 11houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant –
then when you eat and are satisfied, 12be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
13Fear the LORD your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name. 14Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you; 15for the LORD your God, who is among you, is a jealous God and his anger will burn against you, and he will destroy you from the face of the land. 16Do not test the LORD your God as you did at Massah.
17Be sure to keep the commands of the LORD your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you. 18Do what is right and good in the LORD's sight, so that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land that the LORD promised on oath to your forefathers, 19thrusting out all your enemies before you, as the LORD said.
20In the future, when your son asks you, "What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees and laws the LORD our God has commanded you?" 21tell him: "We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. 22Before our eyes the LORD sent miraculous signs and wonders--great and terrible--upon Egypt and Pharaoh and his whole household. 23But he brought us out from there to bring us in and give us the land that he promised on oath to our forefathers. 24The LORD commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the LORD our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. 25And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness."

Oh, my love
my darling
I've hungered for your touch
a long lonely time
and time goes by so slowly
and time can do so much
are you still mine?
I need your love
I need your love
Godspeed your love to me
Lonely rivers flow to the sea,
to the sea
to the open arms of the sea
lonely rivers sigh 'wait for me, wait for me'
I'll be coming home wait for me

IMAGINE!
IMAGINE!
By John Lennon
Gen 1 vs 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Imagine there’s no Heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today.
REVELATION 21
I saw the Holy City, the new
Jerusalem, coming down …….
.... the first heaven and first
earth had passed away,
and there was no longer any sea.
“I am making everything new!”
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
….. There will be no more death or
mourning or crying or pain, for the old
order of things has passed away ……
…I did not see a temple in the city…..
the nations will walk by its light,
and the kings of the earth will bring their
splendour into it.
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
THE RIVER OF THE WATER OF LIFE,
AS CLEAR AS CRYSTAL, FLOWED DOWN
THE MIDDLE OF THE GREAT STREET….
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
On each side of the river stood the
TREE OF LIFE
bearing 12 crops of fruit, yielding its
FRUIT EVERY MONTH
The glory and honour of the nations
will be brought into it.
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
ON NO DAY WILL ITS GATES EVER BE
SHUT,
FOR THERE WILL BE NO NIGHT THERE.
Hear, O Israel:
The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart
and with all your soul
and with all your strength. Deut. 6 vs 4 & 5
“Come.” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. Rev 22 vs 17

Deuteronomy 6 vs 4 & 5
16He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read. 17The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
18"The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to release the oppressed,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
20Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him, 21and he began by saying to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."
Luke 4 vs 16 – 21
CHORUS: Hear, O Israel:
Vs 4
The LORD our God,
The LORD is one.
Vs 5 Love the LORD your God
With all your heart and
With all your soul and
With all your strength.
